Mid Better weather saw an enthusiastic audience for the talk on how to apply Green Screen. Which enables the filmmaker to produce intriguing special effects in their videos. We also learnt how to apply Green Screen when editing. The versatility of this process was demonstrated, when one member was seen flying through the clouds, the only thing missing was the broomstick.
There was a discussion on modern films and how Green Screen had revolutionised filmmaking. Harry Potter being a good example. The final film for the Triangle competition was discussed and it was agreed to enter the following films on the 14th February at the Regional Triangle competition: Dancing With Pigeons, The 2002 visit of the Queen to Stowmarket and Quiet Break. On the 2nd March Shirley Day, a professional film maker from Create Film Makers, is coming to give a workshop on “The process of making film from the idea to the screen’ this is an open meeting and the cost is £2 for non members.
