Debenham Suffolk

How is the Debenham community web site funded?

This site is maintained and funded by Debenham Parish Council as a community website. Small nominal fees are charged for advertising and sponsorship to help defray the cost of this important service.

What is included in the sponsorship package?
  • Your logo prominently displayed on the Home Page and at the bottom of all other community based pages

  • Your logo included on all printed promotional material e.g. posters and door-drop leaflets

  • A link to a specific sponsor page that enables you to say who you are, why you are sponsoring the web site and your contact details including a link to your own web site

  • Your own free and unlimited advertising web space hosted on the Debenham web site if required.

  • Your own mini-web site and domain name which you can use in your own promotional material e.g. www.debenhamsuffolk.org.uk/yourcompany name

  • Ability to update your page(s) at any time - usually achieved within 48hrs

  • Participation in the Monthly Poll if you have a suitable community based question to ask

  • Use of the Event Calendar to advertise any specific one-off commercial event

  • Publicising of one-off events on the home pages' Latest Updates

  • The services of a Technical Advisor (the Editor) who can advise on content, layout, page design etc

  • Any pages you wish to develop can be viewed and approved by you as ‘test’ pages before they go ‘live’

  • The web site is visited by 4,000+ people per month (measured by visit time and hence a reliable measure) and this is increasing at around 5% month on month

  • Visitors tend to be local residents but we also have visits from potential house buyers and tourists

All in all, sponsorship offers you a unique opportunity to get your business known in Debenham and the surrounding areas and to also help fund this valuable community service.

What does it cost?
  • Sponsorship costs £300 per year
